There are several solutions as seen in a large-scale commercial HVAC system, such as listed below:
Listed below are the several types of commercial HVAC equipment currently available as part of Trosten’s wide range of high-quality HVAC equipment: 1. TAH Series Air Handling Units: They are Eurovent certified with the best performance of mechanical strength, casing or filter bypass leakage, and thermal efficiency with the use of polyurethane and rockwool insulation. Additionally, air handling units with EC fans are Eurovent certified. Trosten Air Handling Units are performance tested in TUV-NORD, TUV-SUD and Intertek Labs, a proof of superior product quality. 2. Hygienic Air Handling Units: These units are tested and certified for VDI 6022 Part 1: 2011 & DIN 1946 Part 4:2008 standards by TUV-SUD Germany. Casing is prepared using aluminum or stainless sheet and snap fix (screwless) panel construction. It is equipped with heat recovery options, by use of a plate heat exchanger, heat pip, heat recovery and run around coil, in addition to several others. 3. TFC series fan coil units: These units are Eurovent certified, incorporated with reputed brand motors. These have UL recognized components ensuring safety for all AC & EC motors. Some of the key features of TFC series fan coil units are that they contain fire rated insulation and contain 1,000 hours salt spray tested fasteners. They are available in hideaway ducted and decorative ceiling suspended configuration. Fan coil units are available with the options of low height, designed for an ultra-silent performance experience to suit standard and district cooling applications. 4. THU-ECU series ecology units: They are an ideal kitchen ventilation product for excellent filtration process, in addition to odour removal. Factory packaged control panel ensures trouble-free operations with the provision of continuous monitoring and feedback on system health. 5. Ducted split air conditioners, condensing units and roof-top packaged air conditioners are built with eco-friendly R410a and R407c refrigerants to deliver superior performance and unmatched reliability, and better energy efficiency as well. These products are ideal for implementation in office complexes, shopping malls, pharmaceuticals, clean rooms, and similar applications. This is because all these products have smooth aesthetics, rust-free construction, and contemporary looks as well. Trosten is among the leading HVAC companies in Dubai, with superior quality HVAC equipment. Trosten has a nationwide presence across UAE covering all the seven emirates and has direct representation in most of the GCC countries through Bin Dasmal Group companies. TROSTEN has its presence in Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, Egypt & Sri Lanka through its authorized distributors.

When setting up a fan coil controller the most common piping arrangements in hydronic systems for heating and cooling are two-pipe and four-pipe systems. The two or four-pipe designation refers to the water distribution system serving the climate control equipment in a building. Trosten is one of the few fan coil unit manufacturers in the GCC region to deliver ECM fan coil units with a SFP value of 0.2 – 0.3 w/lps as per Green Building Regulations.
So, what is the difference between two-pipe and four-pipe fan coil units in HVAC systems? Two-pipe systems: These systems have a total of two hydronic pipes for both heating and cooling. The 2-pipe fan coil serves as either a chill water coil or hot water coil which incorporates a single water coil connected to two pipes. There’s one supply pipe and one return pipe, which means that this type of fan coil cannot heat and cool at the same time as there is one supply pipe and one return pipe. You can manually choose whether you want to heat or cool the entire commercial or residential building. With a strap-on temperature sensor installed on the water supply, you can determine the mode of the 2-pipe fan coil unit system. The limitations of the system can be recompensed by equipping it with an auxiliary electric heater. The 2-pipe HVAC system is reasonable and easy to install as it does not require several components to be fitted into the system. These systems suit areas where the weather stays constant. They are less flexible than a four-pipe system as they can either heat or cool and need to be manually operated to switch the temperature. Four-pipe system: Each fan coil in a four-pipe system has two supply pipes and two return pipes. They have separate hydronic piping for heating and cooling. This helps you to simultaneously heat and cool a single space. These systems work well in multi-climate regions which are exposed to both hot and cold outside temperatures. As it can cool the space and dehumidify it too, it has become a popular option for buildings that need heating and cooling throughout the year. Its efficiency is higher than a two-pipe system, but it is also more expensive as it has several components that need to be installed. Trosten offers aesthetically designed fan coil units in two-pipe and four-pipe systems and can help you make an informed decision for your residential and commercial spaces. |
